Near downtown Los Angeles on Friday morning, another train accident occurred when a light rail train slammed into a bus. Although no fatalities have resulted from this accident, 14 people - including the operator - suffered from minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

A bus that was out of service turned in front of the train. The impact of the accident knocked the front car of the train off its tracks, while the other cars remained on the track.

Just one week ago, a Metrolink commuter train collided with a freight train in the San Fernando Valley, injuring more than 130 people and killing 25.

"With everything that's going on, it's scary to go on the Metro," said Chris Romero, who lives in the area.
