In most cases you cannot sue after the statute of limitations is up on your personal injury. However, you should still consult with an attorney who knows and understands your state’s laws as there may be some exceptions. Some states have exceptions for certain types of personal injury and if you were under 18 at the time of your injury. If you do have a case, an experienced attorney will be able to counsel you, and help you present that case to the court.
