Slip and Fall Hotel Injury

I was staying at a hotel while on vacation and the front lobby was marble, and extremely slippery. I did not see any wet floor signs and ended up slipping and falling, and broke a few bones. Am I able to sue the hotel?

Answers

The hotel should certainly have a certain amount of premise liability in being held responsible for accidents and injuries their guests incur as failing to provide a safe environment. It is quite possible with the assistance of an expert attorney, and the specific factors of as to how this injury incurred that you can file a lawsuit for damages against the hotel. In many cases, if the hotel infact was responsible, they may negotiate a settlement before going to court. You should speak to a personal injury attorney immediately whether you end up filing a lawsuit, or reviewing a settlement to ensure the offering is fair.
