I incurred an injury which basically made me become impotent as my penis was injured and had to be amputated. Can I be compensated for pain and suffering as I will no longer be able to live a normal life in so many different ways? I also will feel mentally anguished for quite some time.

How did this accident occur? If this was a result of Medical Malpractice, there are statutes on award limits for pain and suffering damages you can receive depending on the state you live in. However, if this is a civil lawsuit against an individual, or company, you can certainly sue for pain and suffering. As a result of your injury, you will no longer be able to maintain a healthy marriage (per say), reproduce, have sex, and surely, there are mental repercussions as well. This is known as Loss of Consortium; the deprivation of benefits and qualities of life between your family as a result of the injury.
