How do you determine injury liability when injured at an Amusement Park?

I injured my shoulder at an amusement park as the worker was trying to harness the strap on me for a rollercoaster.  My shoulder felt a little pain at first but over the next couple of days, it got a lot worse and I think I have to see a doctor.  Would I be in a position to file a personal injury lawsuit?

A personal injury can happen in any circumstance.  Despite safety protocols and precautions that amusement parks have in place, accidents and injuries still occur.  Each year, reports of injury and death filter out of our country’s amusement parks.

Determining who is at fault or negligent depends on the laws in your state and the circumstances of the accident.  Only a licensed attorney can evaluate your claim adequately taking into account all of the circumstances and the applicable laws.

If you think that you have an injury based on someone else’s negligence, you should contact an attorney.  It is important to do so as soon as possible, because every state has a statute of limitations limiting the period in which you can file a case.

There are personal injury attorneys who specialize in litigating amusement park lawsuits and it would be wise to consult with them to determine if you have a valid case.  They will be able to assist you in seeking financial compensation for your medical bills, future medical costs, lost wages from missing work, as well as pain and suffering.

A lawyer represents your interests at settlement or in court, if the dispute cannot be resoled any other way.
