Nursing Home Abuse Lawsuit

Nursing home abuse may take a number of forms including any form of sexual molestation or rape; any type of physical violence including but not limited to slapping, hitting, punching, pushing, shaking, pinching or burning with cigarettes or other hot item; physically forcing a patient to undergo a procedure they don't wish to have including eating, washing and medical procedures; neglecting the basic physical needs of a person such as their nutritional needs, the need for warmth and basic healthcare needs. Even if the abuse is perpetrated by only one or a small number of staff members, a nursing home abuse lawsuit may still be mounted - it is the responsibility of the nursing home to prevent any form of abuse from occurring. For the same reason, a nursing home abuse lawsuit may also be filed if the abuse is perpetrated by another resident in the nursing home.
