Motorcycle Accidents

Motorcycle accidents are a type of road accident involving one or motorcyclists. In addition, motorcycle accidents can often times be a cause of significant personal injury, in many scenarios more than what would happen in a car accident. Naturally, motorcyclists are at a greater risk for dangers than any other vehicle in transit. Even with helmets and protective gear, motorcyclists are still not properly protected since there is no barrier between them and cars, in the event of a collision. In many cases, motorcyclists face ejections and significant injuries as a result. In a motorcycle accident, factors of the accident are also usually different than those in a car accident. For example, it is harder for motorcyclists to view their surrounding vehicles, especially at intersections. This commonly results in difficulty determining fault and liability in these accidents; but excluding the differences in factors, motorcycle accidents follow the same laws of other automobile accidents.
