Medical Malpractice Reform

Medical malpractice reform is an attempt to revise current medical malpractice conditions for the betterment of all citizens. Medical malpractice reform efforts have divided those most passionate about the issue into two different camps. One group believes the issue of medical malpractice reform is best addressed by improving the care provided by the medical industry. They argue that these improvements will reduce the number of incidences involving medical malpractice on a large scale. Countering on the other side, is the argument that there should be caps put on the awards that are given to victims of medical malpractice, which would considerably reduce the billions of dollars spent on medical malpractice insurance.
