Lead Poisons

Lead is a heavy metal that has been used for many centuries in a huge number of household products. In recent times we have discovered that the lead content in these products can result in lead poisoning, and its inclusion in these products is now banned or heavily limited. Some of the most common types of lead poisons include leaded house paint, lead pipes and leaded gasoline. There are also many other non-obvious products that contain lead poisons, including roller blinds, fashion jewelry, ceramic tiles, batteries, solder, ammunition and certain herbal medicines. Experts regard soldering as the most common cause of lead contamination in household water today.
