Injury Accidents

An injury accident is an accident that results in any type of injury being sustained by a person as a direct result of the accident. The main injury accidents are trip, slip and fall accidents, traffic accidents, workplace accidents and product liability accidents. Most injuries sustained from accidents are immediately noticeable at the time of the accident, although some injuries may present weeks and months after an accident has occurred. Accidents occurring on public roadways are the number one reported type of accidents, and more than half result in some form of injury. There were approximately 6,420,000 reported auto accidents in the United States in 2005 which resulted in more than 230 billion dollars in damages.
