Personal Injury Solicitors

A personal injury solicitor is a legal professional that will represent a person, called a litigant, in a court action without taking compensation for their time and effort from said litigant. This type of arrangement is often referred to as ムno win - no fee' arrangement. Often times a personal injury solicitor will ask that their time and energies be paid by the party at fault, and that the fees be included in any compensation the court awards to the winning litigant. A personal injury solicitor will handle any type of claim that falls within the field of law they practice. This can include such areas as nursing home injuries, bicycle accident injuries, work related injuries and medical malpractice injuries.

Fast Facts

  • A personal injury solicitor will not represent a client seeking to be compensated for any property damage or loss, as these damages do not fall under the umbrella of personal injury.
