-- The parents of five Columbine High School shooting victims
have settled their lawsuit against the teenage gunmen's parents.
The families had sued the parents of Dylan Klebold and Eric
Harris for wrongful death.
A lawyer for Klebold's parents says they filed an agreement
in federal court in Denver yesterday. No word yet on the terms
of the agreement.
In the lawsuit, the victims' parents argued that the gunmen's
parents should have known about their sons' activities
before the 1999 shooting. And they also argued that if
the parents knew about the boys' gunplay and bombmaking,
they were also liable for not doing anything about it.
The two teens killed 12 students and a teacher before committing suicide at the school in Littleton, Colorado.
